Dillon Maggard, an All-American at Utah State competing unattached, placed second in the men's open 10-kilometer race in 30:34 at the USATF Cross Country Championships, presented by Toyota, at Mission Bay Park in San Diego. Maggard, 26, elevated from a fourth-place finish at the same venue in 2020.
