Maia Garren, a senior at Utah State, won the women's invitational shot put with a mark of 51-1.50 (15.58m) at the 47th Stanford Invitational at Cobb Track and Angell Field in Palo Alto, Calif. Garren also finished seventh in the invitational discus throw with a 153-7 (46.81m) performance and took ninth in the invitational hammer throw with a 167-10 (51.17m) effort.
